Bill Payment Info

The Municipal Authority of the Borough of Midland has contracted with Diversified Technology of Bloomsburg, PA to generate your water and sewer bills and accept payments on the Authority’s behalf. This move is in response to the number of customers who have asked about paying by credit card and paying online. Diversified Technology is set up to handle this and it gives you the customer more ways to pay your bills without having to write a check and mail it, hand deliver or drop it off at the bank. There will also be a pay-by-phone option offered to you, the customer.

Online payment information will always be shown on your bill. Service fees will apply for online payments. The fee is the same as paying by credit card online -3% with a minimum of $3.00. You will also be able to pay with your banking information online and that cost is $1.50 per transaction. Another new feature is paperless billing! You may contact the new billing office to request the e-bills over the phone at: 877-330-1699. Your upcoming invoice will look new. Monthly invoices will include the same water and sewer charges. The rates for each water and sewer service will remain the same. All customer account numbers will remain the same. Please note that all balances will remain payable to the Midland Municipal Authority.

Payments can be mailed to the address below.

Municipal Authority Borough of Midland, P.O. Box 919 Bloomsburg, PA 17815

This remittance address will always be on your bill. You will continue to make payments payable to Midland Municipal Authority.

Customers who pay through their bank with electronic checks and payments need to update the NEW PAYMENT LOCATION ADDRESS WITH THEIR BANK.

For customers who do not feel comfortable with new technology, you may pay cash or checks, at the office, 946 Railroad Avenue. The office will continue to accept those payments, shut off payments, and establish a new service. The office is not able to process electronic payments, credits card, or pay-by-phone payments. Also, payments received after noon on the due date will pay the delinquent amount listed on the bill.

These changes are necessary to meet the changing needs of you, our customers. Please bear with us as we go through these changes. We hope and anticipate these changes will make it easier and more convenient for you.
